Probably should have told you I was going on vacation. Sorry!
I'm back now though and everything is up to date.

Miloš hugged his arms around himself and stayed distant the whole flight home. James tried to talk to him a few times, but mostly it became evident it would take some time to establish something between them. Anastasiya even whispered to Natalia and asked, "What's wrong with him, Mamochka?" to which Natalia just told her, "He doesn't know us yet. Give him a little while to get used to everything." But that first evening, when she was getting ready for bed, she looked at James and very easily said, "I guess it's time to stop dancing." She was more at peace with it than she had expected to be. There wasn't a big crisis or any attempts to hold onto her youth. To Natalia, it felt more as if she were finishing one novel only to find out it had a sequel. Natalia began to stay home everyday with the children while James went to work. She taught Anastasiya ballet and then, to her surprise, she caught Ana teaching the same things to Miloš. She secretly recorded it on her phone to show James. She may not have a way to connect with him yet, but he was listening to Ana. Before long, Zhenya had joined in and was dancing with them. It didn't take too long for daily dance classes to start in their home. It wasn't a close connection yet, but during that time, there was the beginning of something between her and her new son, between all of her children really. Every day when he arrived home, James had them show off what they had been working on. They were sure in time, Miloš would warm up to them, but in the meantime, at least he was content to dance with the other children.
