Location: Chicago, Illinois
Ever since Lucia joined the Adams family, she has been seeing a therapist who has officially diagnosed her with dyslexia, along with ADHD. Because of this, she is still struggling to learn English, but luckily has her family who is very supportive of her and is able to speak with her in Spanish. Lucia is an extremely friendly, outgoing girl, but because she cannot speak with people outside of her family, she often gets frustrated. Alex and Norah decided to switch Elena and Lucia to a new school system that will be able to provide more support for Lucia, but Elena isn't taking the change so well as she is still very shy and has trouble making new friends. Despite the rough transitions the family has faced over the past year, David and Norah are extremely happy with their new family, Elena loves having a sister to play with and and tell secrets to, and Lucia is happy to finally have a family.
