DH: Logan Matthew Cooke (34)
DW: Rowena Diane [Moore] Cooke (29)
Location: San Diego, CA
Pick 3-6 words to describe their naming style: literary, classic, unique, Biblical
Additional info: Logan was raised in a strict Catholic family. Rowena came from a more laid-back non-denominational Christian family. They both now attend a Catholic church (but promise not to be as strict as Logan's parents). Rowena is African-American and her parents divorced when she was ten years old. She lived with her mother but still saw her father every other weekend. Logan owns and runs a nerd-themed coffee/comic shop. Rowena works as a part-time nurse. Logan is fairly fluent in Spanish, having taken it for several years.
Adoption information
1) What age ranges do they want the children to be? newborn to ten
2) Whereabouts in the world do they want to adopt from? anywhere, children of all races and genders are accepted
3) Would they adopt multiples (twins/triplets/etc)? yes
4) Would they adopt children with health issues? yes, but nothing too severe if there are several with health issues
5) Is religion/language important? Would they adopt children who don't currently speak their language? If they hold a particular religious belief (or are atheist/secular), would they adopt children from outside that background? religion isn't the most important but it is still fairly important for them and therefore they would prefer children with that background but it really isn't THAT important to them... they would be glad to adopt children with no English experience...
6) Are they hoping to have their own biological children? yes, a few
7) Do they have a preference of gender? nope, anyone is accepted
8) Other considerations: fostering is perfectly fine with them... pregnant teens as foster children would be fine (again, no adoptions over ten preferable)
They can also adopt pets. Would they like to adopt a pet? How many, and what species do they prefer? pets would be great! no more than three... cats/dogs preferable but anything other than reptiles acceptable
“The world is indeed full of peril and in it there are many dark places.
But still there is much that is fair. And though in all lands, love is now
mingled with grief, it still grows, perhaps, the greater.”
