A few years ago, Soren and Lolo got a divorce. After they started trying for another baby, things began to get rough. It reached a point that neither felt it was right to stay together and so they filed for divorce. Adriel, Blakely, and Cataleya have taken it rather roughly. Adriel has started acting out. Blakely has withdrawn from everything she used to love doing. Cataleya has become overly emotional and will break at the slightest thing. It's heartbreaking for Lolo to watch but she's getting them all the help that they obviously need.
Now, Lolo has begun dating a man she met while dealing with the divorce. They passed each other several times coming and going at the lawyer's office. After several times of this, they decided it was time to get to know each other, so they went out to coffee. The man, Spencer Hapburn, has a son the same age as the twins. His son's mother, his wife, passed away when the boy was nine and he has been raising the boy on his own ever since.
Lolo and Spencer hit it off right away after that first casual date. A couple casual dates later and they were an official couple. Spencer brought his son to meet Lolo's kids. Reid and Blakely became pretty good friends, despite Blakely's current situation. In fact, it's gotten to the point where Reid is one of the only people who can get through to Blakely. The two are extremely good friends and this friendship brings great joy to both Spencer and Lolo. They just hope that things end up working out between their two families.

Cas and Roger have adopted their first child, a three year old girl named Makenna. The adoption papers went through a year or so ago when Makenna was two. She came from a family originating in the southern United States but has come to settle in nicely with her new parents. Originally, her name was Emily Rose but Cas and Roger decided to change it to signify a new beginning in her life and so changed it to Makenna Cassidy. They plan to settle in with Makenna before adopting again, but they do hope to adopt again soon.

Gray and Felicity have continued their non-married family, adding three year old Collin Caruso and newborn twins, Elliot Caruso and Haley Killingsworth. With these new additions, they continued with their plan to give their sons Gray's surname and their daughters Felicity's. Amanda is in first grade now and is settling in to being an older sister to the twins. At first, it was pretty rough for her, especially since Collin had taken the spotlight from her three years before. But things are looking brighter for the Caruso and Killingsworth children. And for the parents as well.

In the past five years, King and Ada got married. This made for a very happy little Brylee! And a very, very happy King! Nobody could have wished harder for a relationship to work out. Two years ago, Ada gave birth to their daughter, Keira, and just recently gave birth to their son, Jensen, giving him her maiden name as his first name. Brylee is a fantastic big sister, always willing to help out with Keira and Jensen. Things are running quite smoothly in the Caruso household.

At fifteen, Gus and Libby have both started dating people of their age. Libby's opinion on this is greatly influenced by her younger brother, Gus having taken the role as leader between the two. Libby's boyfriend, Dean Bedingfield, is, oddly enough, the older twin brother of Gus's girlfriend, Diana Bedingfield. More often than not, the two young couples end up double dating. Things aren't fantastically serious with either couple, seeing as how they all have their entire lives ahead of them still. In some respects, it's almost as if both couples are nothing more than mere friends. And it's honestly quite adorable.
Romy on the other hand has found herself a serious boyfriend, Jared Woolsey, a young man she's been friends with since she was in her first year of middle school. He is a year older than she is but really sweet. But not too sweet, otherwise Romy wouldn't have fallen for him. Jared is the perfect combination of sweet and tough for Romy's liking. Together, they go about doing just a bout everything. Despite the young age of this couple, everyone kind of hopes that they'll end up together. They work well together and everything.

A lot has happened with Ally and her family in the past five years! And when I say a lot, I mean a LOT. To begin with, Ally and Finn got married four years ago. The wedding was small but both parties found themselves happier than they could have ever thought they could be, especially after their past experiences.
Two years ago, Ally gave birth to a daughter. They decided to continue Finn's name theme of "F" names, but only with their daughters. With their sons, as they would decide two years later with the birth of Mack, would follow the theme that Ally had previously been following. Finny and Mack, though significantly younger than their older siblings, fit right in with the rest of the family. Una, Remy, Hank, Arlie, Fatima, and Fabian tend to dote on Finny and Mack, both of whom adore their older brothers and sisters.
Speaking of Una, she and Rhys recently welcomed their first child, a son, into their family. Derek, one, has had to fight for his life. He was born somewhat prematurely and certainly sickly. He almost didn't make it. Several times. Even now, a year or so after his birth, he still isn't completely healthy and strong, but he's fighting it. Derek is a little fighter. His parents know that he will never give up, no matter what difficulties may face him.
Remy is now dating a young man named Louis Barner. They both attend the same university and are taking several of the same classes--mainly psychology courses. Louis and Remy are not your traditional couple. Things are going incredibly slowly between them, and that's just the way they like it. They have been dating for the past year and kissing hasn't even come into the question. They don't mind it. They want to take things at their own pace, not at the pace that society tells them they ought to take it. And that means this.
Hank, on the other hand, has found himself a girlfriend with whom he has become quite intimate, despite only having dated for two months. Gemma and Hank have made the decision that their pacing is basically top speed. They went from zero to eighty in about ten seconds, and that's just the way they like it. Unfortunately, this intimacy has resulted in the young couple already expecting their first child together. Gemma only found out about this a couple weeks ago, and she's only about a month or so along. They haven't decided on anything at all at this point in time. Other than that they're going to try to stay together in order to raise their child.
