Cass and Dawn first met when they were 20 and 16 respectively, Dawn started part-time work at a local restaurant as a waitress, while Cass had been working there as a "pot-washer" since he was 18. After just two months of knowing each other they began to officially date, when Dawn was 18 and in her first year at University Cass proposed, but they didn't marry until Dawn finished her course and they'd bought a house together. Now, Cass and Dawn have been married for eighteen months; he works as a supermarket manager while she is a Reception teacher.
