I didn't try to play or look at your original game. But I still felt that this was really disorganised and I got stuck at a few points with where to look and what to do. My advice would be to put the option first, so:

1) Pregnancy
2) Pet
3) Job
etc etc

---

And then explain what to do for each one further below.
Also when you are doing pregnancy, start with the amount of babies, then go onto their appearance, and finish with the names - because I find it hard to pick names for children when I don't know how many to do or what they look like!
