Devon and Ezra decide they’d like Jenna to have a sibling close to her in age. Ezra is the bio-dad this time. Their surrogate (who?) gives birth to a baby boy via C-section. Are the surrogate mom and baby okay?
Once again, Emma offered to be their surrogate even though her own baby was just six months old. However, there were complications to the procedure. Hugo is premature but holding on strong. Emma however died during the surgery, leaving both men devastated.
One of your partners takes a risk professionally… and it doesn’t pay off. What happened and what are the consequences?
Ezra is having a hard time with his sister's death, but returns to work to take his mind off things. Stubborn, stressed and tired, he isn't very friendly and co-operative any more and ignores the orders he's given by his boss. This results in him being fired and soon after, the family's depending on Karen and William's (Ezra's parents) support.
