Name: Devon Hamish Faulkner (25)
Career: Concert pianist
Bio: Devon was born to strictly religious parents, Mary and George, in the city of Cambridge, England. He has an older brother, Peter, who's always been a role model to him, and a younger sister, Faith, whom he hates with a passion. Being the middle child, he never received much attention, but Devon never called for it, being the introverted person he was. He hated going to church, since he has questioned the existence of God from a very young age, but never said anything of it, in fear of being hit by his father (He saw it happen to his brother before, when the latter came home too late from a party). Devon was also a very intelligent child, and always questioned everything he did, saw, read.
And then, there was the music. Whenever his mother put on one of her CDs, usually Chopin or Rachmaninov, Devon would always sit there and stare in the distance, completely intoxicated by the music. Mary decided he should take piano lessons, and so he did, by the age of 16, Devon could already play most of his favourite composers' works, thus he wanted to be a concert pianist. He was heading straight for his goal, until...
He met Ezra. Devon had never liked anyone before, let alone a boy. What would his parents think of it? It was against his religion, that was for sure. For one whole year, Devon kept his feelings (and sexuality) a secret, until he fianlly came out to his brother, whom he trusted the most. Luckily, Peter embraced it and encouraged him to "chase after that bloke" and so he did. Sadly, the res of his family did not take it well and he was kicked out. He moved in with Ezra's family at the age of 17, one year before he'd go to uni and study music. He and Ezra went to the same university (Cambridge) and stayed a happy couple, living in their small dorm room.
When he finished uni, he quickly found a job in an orchestra. Even though it was below his capability, Devon loved his job and practiced it up until the last year, when Ezra's sister Emma gave birth to Devon and Ezra's daughter, who she had offered so kindly to carry. Right now, he's a stay-at-home father, enjoying his days with his child.

Name: Ezra Fallon James (25)
Career: Graphic designer
Bio: Ezra's family was completely different to Devon's. He loved his parents, Karen and William, and his sister Emma to death. They talked about everything; relationships, friends, sex, secrets (if there were any), nothing was taboo. This made for a very happy Ezra, from the day he was born. As a kid, he loved playing outside with other children. Ezra was very active, having trouble sitting still for all too long. At the age of seven, he was already tapping everything, indicating an interest of drumming. He said he didn't want lessons and taught himself how to play the drums, one of his favourite pastimes when he got to his teens.
The other was drawing. Ezra loved to draw: portraits, landscapes, surrealistic pieces, nature, everything. He was very talented, and his mother suggested going to art school when he was older. Ezra liked this idea and kept practicing on his artwork.
When he met Devon, he'd known he was gay for a while. Of course, he had told his parents and sister the day after he found out, and naturally, they accepted it. They had met Devon, too, and thought he was a nice guy and that he was the perfect match for Ezra.
When the boy turned up on their doorstep on the rainy evening he'd been kicked out, they even took him in as their own son. This was a very exciting time for Ezra, and gave him some experience in living with the boy before they went to uni.
When Ezra finished art school, he found a job as a graphic designer for a publishing company. He brings in the money, as Devon is at home with their daughter.
Relationship: They were in secondary school together, studying for their GCSE's. During music class, they caught each other's eye and started (a very awkward) conversation. One thing led to another (Another meaning snogging behind the bike sheds) and their relationship only blossomed when Devon moved in with Ezra and when they went to uni. When they found jobs, they bought their own apartment in the center of Cambridge. When they turned 23, they wanted a baby and began searching for a surrogate, when Emma offered to be one, surprising both men. Of course, they accepted and she gave birth to their daughter.
They don't have the urge to get married, but they do love each other very much. The only obstacle they need to overcome is the rut they've fallen into; life is a bit boring, every day is the same and they need something to change things up.
