My event says I have a son, but the newborn listed with my family is a daughter. Which gender do I use?

Tara and Brayden were very excited when their son was born. While they were trying to think of a name for him, Brayden got a phone call from his mother saying that his uncle had died of cancer. Tara and Brayden decided to name their son Lucas Taylor Darby, after Brayden's uncle.
