With a three-year-old, a new baby, and a part time job, Sephe didn't have a lot of spare time on her hands, but she found she needed some sort of stress release and decided to take up gardening. The communal garden in the Turners' apartment complex had a shady area where the kids could play while Sephe worked her small plot, near enough to keep a close eye on them. By the end of the summer, she had produced a modest harvest of tomatoes, green peppers, and green beans, and there were a couple of nice pumpkins growing that looked like they'd be a nice size come Halloween.
