After moving into their new home, Jack and Beth decided to adopt a pet. While walking through the pet shelter, Beth came across a chubby, orange Persian cat that reminded her of Crookshanks from the Harry Potter films. Beth immediately fell in love. After several minutes of sweetly batting her eyelashes at her husband, who wanted a dog, Beth convinced Jack to adopt the cat. And, of course, they named him Crookshanks.
