Sam and Scott discovered they were pregnant in January. Every one was so excited. James, Scott's father, was so excited to have a grandson! Then, in June, 3 months before the baby was due, James passed away from a sudden heart attack. Scott was always close with his father, and never so much with his mother. So the loss of his father was devastating. In September, when Sam delivered their healthy baby boy, he was named James Ray, after Scott's father.
