Thanks for the shout out, but the one who gives wishes for best stories is Starshelle, I think. But yeah, stories are always fun!
Since she understood that Cairo was not only a name, but also a place, Cairo Lane had always wanted to visit Cairo. Unfortunately, her parents weren't very fond of travelling and had never even left their home state, Oregon. They had simply chosen Cairo as a name for their first born daughter because they liked the sound of it. Therefore, Cairo didn't get a chance to visit Egypt until she was 24 years old and had saved up money for a couple of years. She loved Cairo and Egypt: the hot desert weather, the cool nights, the history of the place and most of all, the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. It was at the beach she met Juliette Leoni, a hardboiled journalist, who was in Egypt to monitor the revolution. Technically, she didn't work for any newspaper yet, but she figured if she could write some really good articles about the situation in Egypt and sell them to a well-known newspaper, she'd get a good reputation and eventually someone would hire her. Cairo was impressed by Juliette's determination, dedication and over all fearless, bad-ass journalism style ("I heard a gunshot!! Maybe there's another demonstration going on! Let's go there!!") so when Juliette eventually got published and hired by a newspaper in London, Cairo followed her there and eventually they also started dating. A year and a half later, they are now married (Cairo's parents left Oregon for the first time in their lives to come to Cairo's wedding in London) and excited to see their family grow!
Cairo and Juliette would like to use sperm donors to have children :)
