Re: Triwizard Champ's Build-A-Family Round 3
So many good names to pick from...it was hard choosing which ones I wanted to use. :) 6. Username: estel
LN: Thompson
H: William Alexander "Wil"
W: Erin Nicole
S: Gregory John "Greg"
S/D: Ethan Benjamin and Amber Paige
S: Dylan Hector
Twins: Yes
Triplets: Yes
Rounds Playing: 8After five years, Wil and I were surprised to find that I was pregnant with our fourth child. We welcomed Dylan Hector into the family just over three months ago. He is an adorable little baby who looks just like his daddy. The other kids are thrilled. Greg likes to entertain Dylan, Ethan can't wait till he's old enough to play soccer, and Amber treats him like one of her dolls. Greg is eight years old and in third grade. His problems in pre-school have diminished and he is doing pretty well now. Greg's latest report card came with Bs and only one C. Wil and I think Greg is doing his best. He works hard at his homework and is developing a lot of perseverance and patience. Greg has a few close friends in his class named Rory, Joel, and Tommy. He and the 'gang' as we call it, hang out at each other's houses after school very often and parents supervise the homework to make sure it gets done. We love having the boys over and Greg seems to enjoy all the time he has to spend with them. That's why, when Rory and Joel signed up to play soccer this year (Tommy can't because of his asthma), Greg just had to play too. Wil and I decided he was old enough to take on the responsibility of playing sports. We can't even begin to say how much Greg loves playing. He's one of the teams best forwards (in our opinion, since there aren't any standings because its an intramural league) and he wants to try out all the positions. Last week, the coach even put him in goal for part of a game!Greg's enthusiasm about soccer has led to Ethan's adopting the sport as his pasttime. He and Greg play games in the backyard. Amber joins in too, but she'd much rather be collecting acorns and leaves to make a 'salad'. I must say, all of our children love to be outside. Ethan and Amber turned five this year and started Kindergarten. Both are doing great and making all kinds of friends. Ethan is more outgoing than Amber, but he sticks up for her and vice versa. Amber's favorite 'subject' is art and Ethan likes recess best. They are both learning a lot. Greg gets along with Ethan and Amber surprisingly well. They don't annoy him and he doesn't annoy them. Wil and I are pleased that the kids have learned to get along as well as they have.Since the kids all have spring break this year, Wil decided to take a week off. We asked the kids where they wanted to go and they unanimously voted for Rome. They want to go to Rome because recently at bedtime, Wil and I have been reading them a storybook filled with Roman Mythology and stories. All of the kids really like it and they can't wait to see the actual places that are mentioned in their storybook. The trip is already booked and we'll be away for 10 days. While we're there, Wil is going to try and get us on a guided tour of Rome. The kids are so excited and all they can talk about is how they're going to Rome for the break.
