Ruby and Alessa met when they were both twenty one, while traveling across France. Somehow, the two groups started to travel together, which meant Ruby and Alessa struck up a friendship. They were surprised to find that they lived just a few hours away from each other in the UK. A relationship bloomed, and after a year, the two moved to Wales together.
Ruby was from a small family - an only child with no cousins, and was hesitant about Alessa's desire for a family as big as the one she grew up in. Still, the two agreed to take it one addition at a time, with Alessa acting as a stay at home mother, and Ruby working high up in her father's business.
