Soon after their first official appearance together at an Emmy after-party, Anson and Haven quickly became Hollywood's "It" couple, constantly showing up on the front pages of magazines and tabloids. Rumors (all untrue) abounded that they had gotten married, split up, and reconciled -- all in the same week. They tried to keep out of the spotlight, but being who and where they were, it was only a matter of time before Haven was photographed sporting a slight bump. Eventually, it was pointless to try to hide it anymore, so Anson and Haven released a statement confirming that yes, they were expecting a baby. Almost immediately, gossip sites starting speculating about whether it was a boy or a girl and what moniker the couple would give their child. For a while, a lot of people were, for some reason, convinced it was going to be a girl named Lux.
So it came as a little bit of a surprise when Anson and Haven announced the birth of their son, Jax Emrys. They had known for a while that they were having a boy, but they decided not to share the news with anyone. As for names, Anson never had any intention of making any son of his the fifth Anson Adler. He liked the name Jackson, but Haven didn't -- so they settled on Jax, which was similar to Anson's choice and spunky enough to fit Haven's tastes. The couple knew they wanted something Welsh for Jax's middle name, since they had started dating while filming their movie in Wales, and when they found Emrys in a baby name book they just fell in love with it.
