Despite Paul's status as a Reality TV star and the fact everyone thinks Reality TV stars are attention whores, he is actually a very private person. He wanted to keep everything about the pregnancy private, including the name and birth. Skylark isn't as private as him but she was perfectly fine keeping quiet about everything.
They decided to release only the baby's name. The media seemed to love the fact that while it was different, it wasn't outrageous. Paparazzi were waiting outside the hospital but the family was able to sneak out with nobody able to get a picture.
