Eight years have passed.
Five years ago, Jay and Hayley adopted another young boy from Nigeria, Enitan. Enitan is nine now, and he is an active boy who loves sports.
Ode, 11, is also a very active kid. He is great at soccer and is also discovering a passion for the drums. He is a smart kid who is thriving.
Laurie is 13. She is a bit of a tomboy who likes climbing trees, playing both soccer and lacrosse, and just being outside in general.
Noah, 18, is a freshman in college. He is planning to study international business and would like to travel the world someday.
Annie, 21, is a senior in college. She is studying music therapy and has always been very musically inclined. She is also engaged to Robert Henry Morris, a guy she met two years ago. The two of them are getting married six weeks after graduation.
Jamie, 22, graduated from college last year with a degree in education. She found a job teaching second graders at a local elementary school, and is still living at home. She is engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Jim Peters. They are getting married next month.
