Hobbies: Reading (she loves to read), researching items of historical interest, reading anthropological, historical and scientific/psychiatric journals, swimming, taking walks or hikes, watching comedy television shows, particularly sketches. She enjoys British comedies, cooking (particularly seafood, spicy and Asian dishes) and/or experimenting with cooking and learning new things. She also likes playing board games, puzzles and cross-words and having small parties and get-togethers with friends, family and neighbours. River Garrett is a 12 year old boy from the U.S. When River was 8, he and his parents were in a car accident that killed both his parents and left him in critical condition. He spent a week in the ICU but eventually pulled through and recovered. The accident did however leave him mostly deaf in his left ear and he wears a hearing aid. Despite being in and out of foster homes since the death of his parents, River is a surprisingly happy child. He is a go-getter and wants to accomplish as much as he can. Though River excells in his schoolwork and likes to read and do word puzzles and similar activities, what he really loves to do is play basketball, video games, and go hiking. He also enjoys animals, particularly his pet turtle, a red-eared slider names Curtis.
Nikola Áron is five year old boy from Hungary. He speaks Hungarian mostly, and a very little bit of English. Nik grew up with his grandmother since his father left before he was born and his mother never really wanted to have a child. His grandmother has recently become ill and is no longer able to care for him. He was very close with her and wishes to remain in contact with her if you would allow. Nik can be very shy around people he doesn't know well, but once you get to know him he is the sweetest little boy ever. He is very caring and loves to help other people out. Nik is very artistic and loves to draw, paint, and make crafts.
Mei Aaliyah "Mei-Li" is a Chinese-American mixed baby from China. The young mother was the victim of a rape and decided adoption was the best option for her and the baby. Mei is perfectly healthy and spends a lot of time sleeping.

Mattheo Kylian "Theo", Simon Vincent, and Calvin Luca are three year old triplets from France. The boys' mother died of breast cancer when they were a year old and their father who had been raising them was recently killed in an accident. While they have some other relatives, none of them wanted to take in three rowdy toddlers, and since their father had been adamant that the three stay together if anything should ever happen to him they were put up for adoption. The boys speak French and a little English, but should learn quickly.
Theo is the eldest of the three and is also the most rambunctious. He loves to run around and play outside. Theo often has trouble paying attention and staying still and it is suspected he may have ADHD. He's too young to be diagnosed for certain, but it is something that should be watched as he gets older.
Simon is the quietest of the three. He enjoys playing with his brothers, but he can also be quite a loner and would rather look at books or color.
Calvin is the youngest and, no matter how small the age difference may be, he acts every bit the baby of the family. He is very affectionate and loving and has been most affected by the passing of their father.
Eden Victoria is a newborn girl from Australia. Her mother was a drug addict so Eden was taken from her custody at birth. Doctors have determined she is healthy as her mother was mostly clean during the pregnancy. She is lactose intolerant so she will need a formula that is not milk-based.

Callum Joel is a six year old boy from the United States. His mother died shortly after he was born due to an infection and his father, who has been on medication for depression the past few years, recently died of a drug overdose. His only living family is his grandmother, but she is unable to take him in. Callum is a very energetic little boy and he loves to run around outside. He loves sports, soccer being his favorite. He has trouble sitting still for long periods of time, but he does enjoy making art, particularly painting.
Phoebe Emilia is a four year old girl from England. When it was discovered that Phoebe was born deaf, her father left her with her mother saying he didn't want a misfit child. Phoebe's young mother tried her best to raise her daughter but was unable to so she gave up the girl and Phoebe has been in and out of foster homes since she was 10 months old. Despite being deaf, she is quite an expressive young girl and easily uses sign language and other gestures to comunicate. Phoebe loves animals, drawing, dress-up, and flowers.
Liam Ruairi and Eoin Scott are newborn twins from Ireland. Their teenage mother decided putting them up for adoption was the best option for her and the twins. Both are in good health and should easily fit in with the family.

Saga Birgit and Vendela Carin are 9 year old twins from Sweden. They speak mainly Swedish, along with some Danish and Norwegian, but they also know quite a bit of English as their father was from the US. Saga and Vendela's parents were killed a little over a year ago in a car accident and the twins have been in foster homes since.
Saga is the older of the two by twelve minutes and she plays the part of older sister no matter how small the difference. She is a very take-charge kind of girl and is quite independent. Though Saga is quite outgoing and does well meeting new people, she often bottles up her emotions and has still not fully grieved her parents death. She is very active and loves being outdoors. Her favorite sport is soccer, but she is up for anything and always loves learning how to play something new.
Vendela is the quieter one of the twins and tends to be much more reserved than her sister, especially so since the passing of their parents. She is very smart, excelling in her schoolwork and coming out at the top of her class most of the time. Like Saga, she enjoys being outside and doing some physical activity, but if given the choice she would much rather curl up with a good book or do a puzzle; this is mostly due to the fact that she has asthma and a bad ankle that she injured a few years ago which still gives her trouble sometimes.
The girls are both anxious to meet their new family and settle into their new lives.
