I'm sorry--I gave my main character two middle names, lol! They're married; Amalia's parents clearly just subscribed to my weird words theory.

Amalia and Michael met at a post-Emmy awards show party. He was there as a guest, while she had been hired as the caterer. Somehow, Michael ended up stone drunk, and Amalia had to get him back to his home. He later called her to thank her, and she suggested they go out and get dinner sometime--all the while expecting to be shot down. To her surprise, he agreed, and things continued from there.
