Eddie and Maggie's family is doing well. Eddie is still working as a police officer, and he was just promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. That came with a much needed pay raise as well. Maggie does not work outside of the home, but she does babysit the neighbor's one year old daughter during the week.
Eva and Lily are still very rambunctious. They are both in first grade now, and are excelling. Both girls are also doing gymnastics. It was a toss-up between ballet and gymnastics, but Maggie decided gymnastics was a better option because there's a lot of movement that will hopefully use up some of the girls' excess energy.
Erin is still the happiest little girl anyone has ever seen. She very rarely cries. She gets concerned when she sees another child crying or upset, and she is quite the little mother figure--particularly in her preschool class. She's always the first one to greet the newcomers and helps them settle in. She has a very compassionate spirit.
Henry, 3, was born just a year after Erin. He's been an average sort of baby--nothing spectacular, but he's met his developmental milestones right on target. He is a bit shyer than his older sisters and tends to cling to Maggie more than they did. He is also going to preschool now, and he seems to be developing into a well-rounded child.
Bobby is the baby of the family. He was born six weeks prematurely and gave everybody a scare when he didn't start breathing on his own until 2 minutes after he was born. Doctors are still waiting to see if Bobby will have any long-lasting effects from his prematurity. So far, Maggie is optomistic. Bobby is a calm, laid-back baby despite the chaos going on around him because of his older siblings.
