DW: Mary Margaret (Brandon) Dashwood
DH: Henry Walter DashwoodDD: Isabella Jane
DD: Elinor Marie
DS/DD/DD: Edward Henry / Anne Margaret / Emma Charlotte The daughter of a blacksmith and a spinster, Mary Brandon was determined not to marry unless it was for love.
Henry Dashwood was a blacksmith apprentice.
Mary and Henry established a cordial friendship that with time blossomed into love. They got married once Henry was able to afford it. They live in a modest but comfortable cottage. Henry works with Mary's father, and Mary dedicates her day to her children and her vegetable garden. Soon after their marriage, Mary became pregnant and she gave birth to a baby girl, whom they decided to call Isabella Jane.
When Isabella turned two years old, Mary gave birth to another baby girl. Her name is Elinor Marie.
Mary became pregnant again a year later. This time she was expecting more than one baby, and this made everyone feel nervous. She was put on bed rest because it was a high risk pregnancy, and the physician visited her regularly to make sure she and the babies were fine. After eight very long months, Mary gave birth to triplets Edward, Anne and Emma. Happily, the babies where healthy.
Henry was very pleased to learn that one of the babies was a boy. Little Edward will continue his father's trade and inherit all the family possessions, which means that the Dashwood girls will not be left penniless after all.
