Evie and Nate met while they were still in high school. From the first time they met, Nate knew he would marry Evie and he told her so on several occasions. Evie always laughed and told him they would never be more than friends. He kept chasing her though, and five years later they were married.
Being an only child, Evie had dreamed of having a big family of her own since she was little. Nate came from a family of 5 kids and loved it so he easily agreed when Evie told him about wanting a lot of kids. However, after three years of trying to conceive, the couple found out they were unable to have children of their own. Though the news was extremely disappointing, they have decided they will still have their big dream family by adoption.
