The Cole Family
DW: Marie Nicole (blue, brown)
DH: Robert Zachary "Rob" (grey, brown)
DS: Ethan Harry (blue-grey, dark brown)
DS: Nathan Kyle (grey, light brown)
DD/DD: Rachel Grace / Riley Hope (grey, light brown)
Ethan is now a first grader and is doing very well. He does, however, have problems with outbursts in class. He likes to talk when the teacher is and has a hard time paying attention and sitting still. Rob and Marie have been talking privately with Ethan on how to control himself during class and we believe it is in fact helping him. Despite his behavior, Ethan gets straight A's and has no trouble whatsoever making friends!
Nathan has been going to preschool 2 days a week. Being as quiet as he is, Nathan prefers sitting in class listening to the teachers than socializing with the others. He tends to stay by himself during free times and is very clingy to the teachers. Nathan broke his arm last year when he was sneaking out of the house at summertime and was trying to ride Ethan's tricycle. We brought Nathan to the hospital where they observed him and wrapped his arm. Nathan hasn't tried to ride Ethan's tricycle since.
Rachel and Riley are so different from each other. Riley lives up to her name by being hyper and active. She prefers when Ethan plays with her. Rachel is quiet and would rather be with Rob or Marie listening to them read a book to her than crawling around with Ethan. Rachel tends to avoid Riley and Ethan because of their hyperactivity and enjoys sitting watching TV with Nathan.
