Ruslan Nikolai is a four year old from Russia. He loves to help with anything, dance, and color. He could sit for hours and build cities and skyscrapers out of blocks. He is very friendly and affectionate. He knows some basic English words and phrases and continues to pick up on the language.
Luca Matteo is a three month old boy from Italy. He was given up for adoption immediately after birth. Doctors determined that Luca has moderate to significant hearing loss, but it is unclear whether he will need hearing aids or cochlear implants.
Please keep the agency updated on how Ruslan and Luca adjust!

We have been very happy to expand our family!
It has been a year since we adopted our two little boys and we've settled in great.
Ruslan has adjusted wonderfully and is enrolled in kindergarten. He is making friends, thought still gets confused by some words. His teacher loves him, and he likes to be the Teacher's Assistant, who gets to pass things out and such.
Luca is very quiet, mainly due to the hearing loss (we've determined it's significant) but he is learning sign language, the only language Benedykt has learned faster than me, and beginning to talk. He has a sweet voice.
Howie didn't like them at first. He tried to teach Luca to wake up to a schedule, and he would come in and rearrange Ruslan's blocks because "he was doing it wrong", but he's gotten better with his counselling and he and Ruslan have gotten better, though he's very bossy. Regardless, it's been a great learning experience for him.
Leslie loves her new cousins, her and Ruslan are great friends and she plays great with Luca, she's his little teacher. She tries to teach him sports to no avail, but has taught him "fist bump", "no, no, no" and, our favorite, "evil laugh". She's clicked with the boys great.
Cassandra has been doing great and loves being an auntie. She has helped Ruslan a lot, mostly on dealing with Howie. But she loves her nephews.
Benedykt and I are also expecting a baby girl, and overall everyone's very excited.
We're really thankful this adoption has made our family so much more and we've never been happier!
