Matthias and Natasa strayed away from their theme of Greek names to name their son Caspian. Caspian was born incredibly strong. He could lift objects in his first few hours that Selena still could not. Because of this trait, Natasa insisted on one of his middle names being Gabriel. Silas honors Matthias's father.
Matthias and Natasa oppose the new laws because they believe that for Selena and Caspian to learn what's good and what's evil they need to see the difference for themselves, not listen to a long lecture from their parents or other adults.
