In The Kingdom of: Oleander One month was all King Gideon got to mourn his lovely Octavia. One month, and then he was thrust into a hasty engagement and then marriage with a girl he barely knew. She was sweet and kind, yes, but so young. The royal advisors insisted that Gideon and Theodosia must consummate their marriage and provide an heir immediately. With the difficult situation with the triplets weighing on everyone's mind, Gideon and Theodosia got to it. Theodosia was awkward and overly emotional, making Gideon long for Octavia more than he had already. He missed her so much. Theodosia and Gideon's marriage was rather more of a friendship than a relationship – there was no passion, Gideon was still mourning Octavia and barely noticed his new wife, only four years older than his eldest child. Maude did not seem to like Theodosia much, but all was forgotten when it was discovered Theodosia was pregnant. The kingdom was overjoyed, especially when also notified that the invading army had backed off for now. Only a few months later, the next child from the house of Greybank was born. A son! Due to her youth, Theodosia recovered quickly, and insisted on names from her family tree for their son. Gideon agreed. This would be good for linking the two families. They named himElias Maximilian James Ignatius. He was beautiful, born with thick black hair and bright blue eyes. The Kingdom of Oleander rejoiced over the birth of little Prince Elias, and Gideon felt good about the future. Since Elias' birth he and Theodosia were getting on better than ever. He supposed they might even fall in love.
