Barely a year since their first meeting (and two months after they were "officially" dating), Lia found out that she was pregnant. It was frantic, at first, but she and Jakob decided that it would be best to cover it up for the first few months from the press. And thus, Lia (already the fashionista as is) seemed to take a sudden fancy for loose and billowy Bohemian fashion, carefully covering her slowly-growing baby bump. It worked fine for the first few months, but after a while it was impossible to hide, and the couple admitted it to the hounding press.

Immediately, their life changed. Fan mail expressed everything from "SQUEE!" to hatred that Jakob/Lia (delete as required) will never be theirs. Reporters and photographers tailed them as never before, taking numerous shots of the growing baby bump where-ever the couple went (especially when they went to buy baby supplies, as the things they bought for the future child was also scrutinised). At last, Lia declared that she had had enough of it and decided to stay at their home as much as she could. But things were not hopeless at all - Lia's parents flew over from their family home to help with the final weeks of pregnancy (and first weeks of birth), Jakob's bandmates would drop by ever so often with supplies and presents, and - most importantly - distracted the media with their presence.

At last, the baby arrived. The birth was a smooth and timely one, and the child, too, was strong and healthy. Jakob and Lia's daughter shared their traits almost perfectly split - Jakob's thick black hair, blended with Lia's greenish-grey eyes and small nose. It took a while, but the couple finally announced their daughter's name: Winona Cypress Elizabeth Foster. In truth, Jakob and Lia had quite the argument over what to name their daughter. Jakob wanted something more modern and edgy, while Lia insisted that they name her something she won't be embarrassed of. At last they settled on Winona for the first name (Lia because it means "first daughter", which the child certainly is, Jakob because he liked Winona Ryder), Cypress for the first middle name (Jakob's pick, naming the child something "modern and edgy" and simultaneously honouring his bandmate and best friend Cyrus), and Elizabeth for the second middle name (Lia's choice, to honour her mother Beth).
