Of the Royal House of Calabrese, of the Kingdom of Oroterra
The past two years have brought both good and bad times for the Royal Family and citizens of Oroterra. Chiara's marriage to Fredo had to be postponed due to the fact that Fredo was sent overseas to supervise a last minute trade agreement and when he returned Chiara fell ill. By the time Chiara recovered from the illness, a year had passed. They had a fairly modest celebration compared to that of her older brother and sisters. Everyone was overjoyed when Nico announced that he and Ella were finally expecting. Antonio's council was beginning to doubt that the couple would ever concieve a child, and everyone was relieved. This was shortly followed by Antonia's own announcement of pregnancy which cheered up the whole family. Everyone was ecstatic when Franco announced that he and Priscilla were expecting once again. However, all this good news was followed and overshadowed by bad news. While riding through Oroterra Franco saw a fight occuring between a large group of men. The guards traveling with Franco attempted to stop the fight, and when Franco decided to take matters into his own hands he was shot. Franco was rushed to the physician who worked tirelessly to get Franco stabilized. Luckily, after several long hours the physician announced that Franco would live, but he would always have scars marring his chest where he was shot. Nico and Ella's child was the first to arrive, and the country was extremely overjoyed when the future ruler of Oroterra announced that his first child was a boy. They decided to name him Gianfranco to honor Franco, Antonio to honor Nico's father, Emiliano to honor Ella's father, and Vincenzo. Antonia and Claudio's daughter followed shortly. They decided to name her Francesca after Franco, Aurelia, Claudia to honor Claudio, and Teresa to honor Antonia. Everyone was relieved when Priscilla gave birth without complications, as she had been very stressed during the last few months of her pregnancy due to Franco being injured. Franco didn't want his daughter's first name to honor him directly, especially since Antonia already named her daughter Francesca but Priscilla insisted on her middle names honoring her father. They decided to name her Arianna, with middle names Francesca, Giorgia, and Martina to honor Franco. Elisabetta is thrilled that her family has expanded so much and loves all of her grandchildren. Things seemed to be looking up for Oroterra, however Antonio is worried about a country that Oroterra normally had under control. Recently, that country has been demanding new treaties that wouldn't benefit Oroterra. Antonio plans to be ruthless, just as Oroterra has always been.
