James inherited the kingdom of Rossinest from his late father, King Gregory. He is last in a family of ten children, with two older brothers and seven older sisters. His oldest brother is nearly 40 years old, with many children of his own. For a long time, it appeared that the throne would pass to James' sister, Beatrice, until little latecoming James was born.
James and Honora were married two years ago, on Honora's eighteenth birthday. Honora is the middle child of three royal children of the kingdom of Undralow. The two were married as a political alliance between the two countries and have lived together in the palace with James' parents since their marriage.
