Georgiana and Benedict have been engaged since Georgiana was a newborn. They have grown up around each other and are close friends but not remotely in love with each other.
Georgiana's parents were planning on having more children, but pregnancy had always been hard on Queen Cecily and after suffering several miscarriages was warned by the physicians that another pregnancy could very well kill her, so they had to stop trying. Cecily and Zacharias doted on their three children though, giving them the best education and letting Antonia and Nicholas choose their own spouses.
Georgiana and Benedict were married six months ago and were crowned on Georgiana's eighteenth birthday, not three months later. So far everything is going wonderfully.
