Little Wilhelmina-Aiolosia came to the world very quickly and completely unexpected. Fürstin Josephina was terrified and was sure she was going to lose another baby. And then she heard her daughter cry. It was the most beautiful sound in the world. She knew from the moment she held her in her arms that she wasn't Gregorius's III daughter. She looked so much like the stable boy Tilo Kimard that she was scared that her husband would see it too. But Gregorius III had only met the stable boy a few times and he was not memorable to him so for all he knew the little girl was his.
When Josephina lost her first baby with Tilo she swore to not see him again and for a while she kept her promise. But with the return of her husband from the war and his obvious relationship with the kicthen maid Eremina (the Fürstin now knows it's not just a rumour and she's seen enough to know that it's true) she didn't feel guilty for going back to Tilo. She still loves him and he tells her that he loves her. She's sad that she can't tell him about his daughter but eventually he will find out. He just needs to see her to know.
But just when she has come to peace with her husband's affair with the maid (that as far as she knows has lastes for years) she hears new unsettling rumours. People are saying that Gregorius III has a son working for him in the stables. He is not aware of it himself but the boy knows. When Josephina heard the name she thought she was going to faint. Tilo. She had to sit down, her entire body went numb and cold. Is she having an affair with her husband's son? Has she just given birth to Gregoriu's daughter and granddaughter?
