Queen Consort: Josephine Fredericka Katharine Naomi, Her Royal Highness Queen Josephine the Kind, Princess of Dokshaina (17)
-DPrince: Roland Gregory Jonathan Joseph, His Royal Highness Prince Roland (2)
-DPrincess: Katharine Theodosia Abigail Jane, Her Royal Highness Princess Katharine (nb)
Of the Royal House of Terron, of the Kingdom of Thylos
Round One
In the last month or so Josie's elder sister Alexandria ran away from her abusive husband back home - he was a higher noble in southern Dokshaina - bringing her four girls with her. Noah and Bernice refused their daughter shelter because a woman's place was with her husband and if she couldn't give him males she deserved to be 'coerced'. While most of the people of Thylos don't agree with this they don't believe that she should be allowed to take refuge with her sister because it is a family matter.
The birth of the Prince smoothed things over for the people though and there was a week-long celebration that both their Queen and Prince were alright. The pregnancy was hard for Josie. Although she was healthy enough before her body didn't cope well with the extra estrogen and she threw up near-constantly as a result, the physicians urged her to eat more since she kept losing weight but Josie would just be sick again so she didn't really see the point. The labour was also hard and, for a while, they didn't think that she or the baby would make it but, after 47 hours, Josie gave birth to a relatively healthy baby boy. Josie is still recovering but insists upon feeding her son herself, the Dokshainens believe that a Mother can provide for her children better than anyone, which the Thylosians find ridiculous.
Round Two
This pregnancy was a bit better on Josie, her body has become better equipped to deal with the extra hormones but she still lost some weight and went through another extensive labour, 33 hours this time. But both Mother and Daughter are safe and healthy, which is all anyone had hoped for.
Roland had been hoping for a baby brother but said that he guesses a baby sister isn't so bad.
Theo, though happy that his wife and daughter are well, has been shut up in his study for quite some time. The Dokshainens aren't happy that Princess Alexandria and her children have not returned home and rumour has it that the nobles have been funding attacks on the Thylosian border, which Theo fears is true.
Josie and Theo have found common ground over the last three years and have become good friends. Josie has confided in her husband that she has been attracted to Lady Magdalene and Theo has encouraged her to confess to the young Countess, happy that she has found someone who might make her more comfortable in Thylos, but Josie has yet to take his advice, fearing what others may think of her.
