King: Antonio Giuseppe Domenico Leonardo, His Royal Highness King Antonio (24)
Queen Consort: Elisabetta Graziana Rosaria, Her Royal Highness Queen Elisabetta (20)
-DPrincess: Antonia Margherita Teresa Emiliana, Her Royal Highness Princess Antonia (2)
-DPrincess: Elena Carolina Lucia Giovanna, Her Royal Highness Princess Elena
Of the Royal House of Calabrese, of the Kingdom of Oroterra
Antonio and Elisabetta were extremely excited to welcome their second daughter into the family, as they seemed to have gotten extremely lucky with their first. Antonia is very smart and outgoing, always wanting to venture out of her nursery and explore. She rarely let her caretakers take a moment of rest and is always happy. Antonio didn't want to put any pressure on his wife, but had been hoping this child would be a boy. His council, and especially his father, wasn't pleased with the birth of another daughter and only added it to their list of Elisabetta's "failings". However, Antonio was extremely pleased with the birth of his daughter who looks so much like her mother. They decided to name her Elena, Carolina after the capital city of Oroterra, Lucia for the small countryside town that Elena was born in when her parents were vacationing, and Giovanna after Antonio's brother.
However, despite Antonio's joy over the birth of his daughter, he is very anxious over the very high possibility of war. A country near the border owed Oroterra a very large debt. Oroterra had always supplied the country with grain and wheat, in exchange for unlimited access to it's natural resources. The country decided that they didn't want Oroterra constantly exploiting their resources and told them the deal was off. However, they still technically owed Oroterra for all the grain that was shipped to them. The King of that country said that Oroterra took more than it's fair share and therefore they owed them nothing. Antonio knew that his country would expect him to demand that the country pay off the debt in full, or troops would be sent in. Antonio had spent a lot of money training and building the army, and Oroterra had an impressive number of soldiers and weapons.
