Year 1
This year I accomplished a long term goal of mine, I have quit the maid service that I worked at and started my own competing company. We are called Starshine Maid's Service. We provide weekly cleanings for people's homes.
Year 2
We got pregnant and had a little girl, Augusta Jane. She has brown, wavy hair just like her daddy and gray eyes. Jesse says his eyes used to be gray and turned blue later on in life.
Year 3
Pregnant again! We had a boy this time, Tobias Philip, or Toby. He has brown, straight hair and green eyes like me.
Year 4
Our neighbor's had a baby this year. Zoe and Clark Steed run the horse farm down the road. They had a little girl name Carrie Rose.
Year 5
We were asked to be godparents by Jesse's sister. They are expecting a little boy in a few months. Of course we said yes.
Year 6
Jesse bought some more land for the farm. Our neighbor's behind us decided that they didn't need as much land as they had. We've been eyeing that land for years.
Year 7
Although we live on a farm, we don't have any pets for the children. They're still a little young for a dog or cat, so we got a parakeet named Sally. The Augusta and Toby love to make noises at it for it to imitate.
Year 8
We decided to take a vacation this year. Augusta is 6 and Toby is 5, so they'll most likely remember it. We decided to go to Ireland. Although it's in neither one of our backgrounds, it has just always been some place we've wanted to go.
Year 9
The neighbor's behind us actually sold their farm, so we have new neighbor's over there. Shelly and Bruce Lamphouer have two kids just around Augusta and Toby's ages so they are excited.
Year 10
We hosted the Coral family reunion this year (my father's side of the family). It was great since we hadn't seen most of them since the last reunion about 5 years ago.
Year 11
We've been trying to get pregnant again for some time, but no luck, so we decided to adopt. We decided to do an abroad adoption and got ourselves a little 10-year-old girl from England. Molly Ann has straight, red hair and green eyes.
Year 12
It's was my 35th birthday this year, so we had a huge birthday bash. There must have been 100 people at the farm to celebrate. It was amazing!
Year 13
We moved this year. It was hard saying goodbye to our farm, but Jesse got a job managing a farm in Idaho. He's making sure that they follow everything according to the EPA and that they can truly put organic on their products. We will have a small farm of our own, but not as big as the one we had in Nebraska.
Year 14
We decided to adopt again since we still aren't having any luck getting pregnant. This time we adopted a 10-year-old boy from Romania. George Felix has black, wavy hair and striking. blue eyes.
Year 15
After all the trying, we got pregnant right after we adopted George. We had another boy! Henry Harrison has straight, blond hair and violet eyes.
Year 16
Yikes! All those fertility treatments certainly left me fertile. We had triplet girls this year! Ruby Piper has black, wavy hair and amber eyes, Alice Wren has black, wavy hair and violet eyes, and Eden Miranda has straight, black hair and brown eyes. They kids are all excited for their arrival.
Year 17
We decided to travel this year (without Henry or the triplets). We went all over Europe and got to see where Molly and George were from.
Year 18
Sally the parakeet died a few years ago, so we decided to get a cat. We got a beautiful orange tabby that the kids name Julius.
Year 19
Wow! Was not expecting to have the late in life baby. We got our unexpected surprise, Charlotte Amelia, Lottie, this year. She has brown, wavy hair and hazel eyes.
Year 20
I've decided to learn how to crochet this year. I have a few friends who make the cutest scarves and hats and I'm thinking that it might be fun and relaxing.
