Anyway, that sounds like a perfect idea to me. How about this:
Ollie had dreamed of being a photographer since he was a kid. He finally had a chance now, the beauty of the local wildlife park had always interested him, so he was trying to capture it in his photos. Anna had just secured a job in the city teaching a class of 6 and 7 year olds. The school had sent them on an educational field trip to the wildlife park, so the kids could learn about plants native to the area. The class stumbled across Ollie, who was pretty knowledgeable about the plants and flowers he was photographing. He explained (almost) everything he knew to the kids.
Something about Ollie captured Anna's interest, so she returned to the park herself a few days later, hoping to find him again. Much to her surprise, she did, and the two began talking. Several cups of coffee, a few movies, and numerous dinners later, Ollie dropped to one knee and proposed.

We can each take a spouse. I really don't care if it's a same-sex couple either, though I usually do male-female couples. I'll start it off with a woman, and you can decide whether you want another woman or a man.

Sure, I'll keep up with ages. I forgot about naming rules, but what I meant by name bank is that we each put our favorite names and take out the ones one of us wouldn't consider, and come up with a good list of names we both like.
Example: if I put Lucy, Carlotta, Gertrude, and Tiana, and you put Katrina, Maura, Louise, and Theresa, and I don't like Louise and you don't like Gertrude, we would have Lucy, Carlotta, Tiana, Katrina, Maura, and Theresa as a bank of names for girls. Only we'd use both genders and more names.

I've sorted them into loves, likes, and hates. Of course we'll have to follow naming rules, but I think this is a good place to start. I love or like almost everything on your lists, and you've actually hit a lot of my favorites which I've marked.
