Another Kingdom Congrats? Your thoughts...
So I'm so incredibly busy right now that I've barely had time to keep up with the congrats games I'm playing, let alone host one. But I'd really like to host another kingdom congrats like my with with the Bialan royal family, starting probably about a week from today. My semester is ending, so my workload is about to drop dramatically and I could actually have time to keep up with one. Here are my thoughts:
I'd like to do something that starts with the first ruler--either sex--of a newly-formed kingdom, this time set in a fictional world, and go through several generations like a century congrats. Obviously this would require at least one change in ruler, as I want to at least go through great-grandchildren, but I think it could be doable. What are your thoughts? What kind of fictional world would you prefer to see, one like ours (ours in the past I mean, not like today's world) or something more fantastical, maybe with a mythical or fantasy or sci-fi spin? I'm up for whatever the popular vote is, and I think any could be fun.
The rules and setup would basically be the same as my first Kingdom congrats, with the ruler, royal family, nobility, commoners of various importance, and the ever-delightful foreign presence from highest diplomats to poorest refugee. The only difference would be there would be no references to any existing countries or historical events, which I think would make it even more fun as we could make up absolutely anything. What does everyone think? Who would be interested?

Oh, I'm totally in. Fantasy or sci fi would be really interesting and different to what we have done lately, and most interesting to me!
I love Kingdom Congrats. :)

Why not!
I think I'll sound a bit like an echo here, but I'd love to play this game. And I also agree about the fantasy elements being added in - sci-fi would be interesting too, but it might be more difficult to make a Naboo-ey sort of kingdom than to make a a Medieval fantasy sort. That is to say, modern fantasy would be wonderful, too.
Anyways, just go and make it. You can count me in.

I'd be interested. I think it should be a more fantastical world, as the other ones have been more like the Medieval time period in our world. It'd be fun to have it be more fantastical this time.
I've never played this kind of game before, but it sounds interesting! Sounds like a great opportunity of world-building. I'd personally favour an archetypical medieval world, with maybe a few fantastic elements. Though a kingdom system set in space would be interesting as well...
I'd be interested in participating; it would be interesting to see how one would go about changing rulers...
I'd prefer a world more fantastical than our own, although I'd play either way.
