Re: Nyx' This or That - twin combos
in reply to a message by Nyx
Byron & Chaucer - didn't like Baron because it's a title and a surname...unless someone has either in their family, I don't believe it should be used. Orion & Phoenix - I don't like Phoenix or Onyx, but I do like Orion.Christopher & Matthew - Christopher and Matthew is a bit more classic/English than Malachy...plus I like the spelling Matthias more than Mathias.August & Emmett Sebastian & Felix - Felix is classic, Dashiell is not. Boy / Girl combosTate & Coralie - Tate ages better than BeauJasper & Violetta - LOVE VIOLETTA! There simply aren't enough of them. Jasper and Isabella is nice, but a bit too reminiscent of Twilight...I do like Twilight, but I don't want a family with that theme.Sam & Amy - Lou is unisex, whereas Amy is totally feminine.Ezra & Ophelia - Ophelia is so much classier and more beautiful than Zoe. Oliver & Eva - I'm tired of hearing Finn so much.Girl / Girl combosAdelaide & Amelia - I love Charlotte too, but Adelaide is less common.Fiona & Isla - Don't really like Ciara because it's too easily mispronounced.Avery & Riley - I don't like either on a girl, but Rowan is not a girls' name at all.Lily & Susannah - Lily and Layla are too alliterative. Lily and Susannah both mean lily, which makes it cute, but they're also both classic. Claire & Louise - don't like Chloe

Jasper & Violetta - I just discovered Violetta recently and must admit that I'm falling in love with it tooEzra & Ophelia - I do like that both names have the same meaningLily & Layla - I put this as a combo because I actually met a young set of identical girls with these names
Lily & Susannah - I used this as an alternate because my name is Suzanna and I used to dream of naming a daughter Lily so that she would be named after meClaire & Chloe - I was real tempted to use Chloe/Zoe as one of the combos, but ultimately just couldn't bring myself to do it (I'd already thrown in Avery/Riley/Rowan, which are not my style as it is!)
