- Elle is at university studying human biology, while Anatoli is taking a course in specialist make-up. They both work in KFC on some evenings and weekends. It's a demanding job, but they enjoy being together.
- Jake is doing well at his maths course, but Robbie has gone off the rails somewhat. He's become a herion addict and has moved into his boyfriends' house. The entire family is refusing to talk to him, but I feel bad...we should be there for him, really.
