School's getting a bit busy (fun, but busy) so I have no pics this time.Cassandra Grace Logan
The MacKenzie Family
DH: John Thomas Conall "Jack" MacKenzie (37)
DW: Alyriane Sophia (Blackwood-Bennett) "Lyra" MacKenzie (32)
-ADS: Matej Antonio "Mato" MacKenzie (17) [Croatia]
-ADS/ADD: Conor Brennan MacKenzie / Rosemary Coralie "Romy" MacKenzie (9) [England]
-ADS: Jack Thomas Cuán "Mac" MacKenzie (8) [Northern Ireland - brother to Adam and Lucy]
-DD/DD: Claire Lillias MacKenzie / Caitriona Amelie "Caitie" MacKenzie (6)
-ADS: Adam Matthew Keane MacKenzie (6) [Northern Ireland - brother to Jack and Lucy]
-ADD: Lucy Grace Aisling MacKenzie (4) [Northern Ireland - sister to Jack and Adam]It's been a year since Mac, Adam, and Lucy Grace were brought into the MacKenzie family, and everyone's responded well.Conor was ecstatic to have not just one, but two, new brothers. He gets along well with the girls, but having brothers is a different experience. All three boys get along great, even though Conor is more the artistic type and Mac and Adam both love soccer (well, football, as they call it). The brothers, still protective of Lucy Grace, are slowly adjusting to being able to rely on other siblings.Meanwhile, Lucy is a little ball of energy. She loves running around outside, inside, wherever. Her favorite thing to do is learning to ice skate like her new big sisters Claire and Caitie. Romy seems to like hanging around at the rink, if only just to casually skate. She has settled onto playing a violin. For now.Claire and Caitie have recently started training more seriously. Jack and Lyra have found skating partners for them - a pairs partner named Leopold (age 11, from England) for Claire, and an ice dancing partner, Kolya (Nikolai, age 10, from Russia) for Caitie. Both girls still love skating, and hope to be like their Olympic Champion parents when they get older.Recently, the MacKenzie family did gain a new member. They adopted a 17-year-old boy named Matej from Croatia. It was a big change from all of the young kids, to suddenly have a teenager in the house, but everyone is doing fine. Mato, as he's known, is starting to adjust. He still has a bit of trouble with English (idioms, some grammar, and such), but is learning fast. He is a very good football (soccer) player, and tried out for a competitive team in the US soon after being adopted. Little Adam is especially attached to his new big brother, always kicking a ball around with Mato. The teenager is doing quite well since joining a household with 8 younger (and mostly very energetic) siblings. For next round, still anything pretty much goes as per the description I gave in the first round. I don't think it's ever going to not.
