Britt's Compromise Congrats Final Round
Sorry this was such a short congrats! It just worked out that way the way I did the spacing. This round, you and your partner have free reign. You can choose gender, whether you adopted, multiples up to triplets, and anything else you want. Hope you enjoyed my brief revival of the compromise congrats!UNs: britto08 and Ninor

So, we can have as many children as we'd like this round. What do you think about adoption? We've got plenty of money, and space in our house isn't an issue, either.
vote up1
I think adoption is a wonderful idea. I would prefer a younger child but have no preference on country. What about you?
vote up1
Same; a younger child, although I think an orphan or foster child (or even siblings) from New Orleans would fit our family nicely.
vote up1
Agreed. If we are adopting one child then I think that they should be younger than Winnie, but if we're adopting siblings maybe no older than nine?Do you have any preference on gender?
vote up1
No preference on gender(s), since we have two of each.If we are adopting a single child, I also think the child should be younger than Winnie. If we are adopting siblings, I wouldn't mind adopting an older child, but I'm worried that Theo might not want an older sibling...
vote up1
Hmm...well I suppose we'll cross that bridge if we come to it.
vote up1
So...How about a two-year-old little boy from New Orleans?

Wow, sorry it took so long to reply to this! How about we have a set of boy/girl twins, becuase I have a thing for keeping boys and girls equal. Do we break out Jocelyn nn maybe Joss for a daughter? What about for a boy?

Approx. spacing preference: 2 yearsSo love, we're almost done with our family, but I can't help but feel like there is room for another child, maybe even two... Our babies have brought us so much joy, but there are so many children out there without loving families, so I wanted to ask what your opinion on adoption was?
vote up1
In principle I absolutely agree with it, though I'd prefer to adopt an older child if we were going to as they are less likely to get adopted than say a baby. How would you feel about that? And what age range would you prefer?
vote up1
I think that's a wonderful idea darling... Perhaps even a set of siblings who need a loving home? We hear all the time about orphans who end up being separated from their brothers and sisters because people don't want to take them together - perhaps we're in a position to ensure that is not the fate of one little group? Somewhere around the 5-10 age group would fit in well I think. Too old to be wanted by the masses, but still young enough to adjust easily.Did you want to adopt here in England? Or overseas?
vote up1
Language wise it would be easier if they were fluent in English in terms of settling in. But other than that it isn't an issue where we adopt from. I agree I think adopting siblings would be a wonderful idea and would also make the transition into a new home easier for the children. We could possibly even stretch to 3 children?
vote up1
I contacted an agency love and they've sent us a profile for a set of siblings! This is them, aren't they gorgeous?!PhotobucketSo from left to right is Oliver (aged 7), Mia (aged 5) & Rose (aged 9). According to the agency, they were all born here in England, but their parents actually moved the family to Russia of all places 4 years ago. Unfortunately, both of their parents were killed in a car accident and as the children have no family and their parents did not leave a will, they've been in a Russian orphanage for the 9 months... What do you think love, are these kids ours?
vote up1
aww I think these kids are definately ours so cute! They're melting my heart already :) I'm sure they'll fit into our family perfectly darling
vote up1
I think so too...What do you think of their names? What shall we do in that regard?
vote up1
I absolutely love their names though as our children have middle names maybe we should give Rose, Oliver and Mia middle names.

vote up1
Yeah, at least one boy! What about one pair of twins (twin boys) and one other single child?
vote up1
Sounds good to me, though maybe more than one single child. If the twins are, say, four-years-old, then maybe a two-year-old and a one-year-old or newborn?
