Adelmar & Swanahilda welcomed their first child, a girl named Rosmunda Godeliva, after her grandmothers. Rosmunda is a sweet little child, plump with rosy checks and the lightest covering of red hair.
The von Saxewald family is mixed about the current marriages of the royal family, especially of Princess Adelheid. Adelmar having spent more than 21 years of his life in the service of the King, fighting the French for the most of it, feels that the marriage is a slap in the face of both Wolfgang's memory and the efforts of the soliders who lay down their life.
Swanahilda, while only young and having lost her father and uncles in the battle with the French, thinks whatever can bring peace to the nation is a good thing, and besides at least Adelheid went about her duty of marrying for country, unlike her sister you married for the trivial reason of love.
