Aurelia and Julian decided to take in foster children, and three years ago three sisters Maya, Kendra and Alia moved in. The girls had been living on the streets and adjusting to family life was difficult for them at first. Now the girls have found their places in the Darwin-O'Rourke family, and Aurelia and Julian adopted them six months ago.

Aurelia also has two new grandchildren. Cordelia and Sebastian have a newborn baby boy named Anthony. Lyla-Rose and Jeremy have adopted six-year-old Milan from Russia.
