One day, Lovise was at the market, and she spotted a young boy of about six trying to steal some fruit from a woman's basket. She grabbed the boy, and when he told her that he was homeless, Lovise brought him home with her. Stanislav Jarmil, whose parents had been from the area of the Czechs, had lost his parents and siblings to a dreaded disease. Stansilav has become a big part of the Descoteaux family.
About a year after Stanislav became a Descoteaux, Lovise had another child: a girl. Since Lovise was convinced that this would be her last child, she named her Heilwig Margrethe. Heilwig means "happy" in German, the language of Austria. Margrethe is after some famous Dane.
The Rask family has been doing well, nothing terrible has happened.
