Stephen moved to France for his first years of University and to learn French. After a year and a half gone, he comes back with his petite amie francaise Aline Beorgeois as well as their newborn son Sawyer Luca Stephan. Emilie and Jacoby were very welcoming of Aline and love their little grandson.

A year earlier, Emilie got pregnant with their 10th(!) child. However, their son was born three months early. He was kept in the ICU for three months and then was released in good condition at about the same time as Stephen, Aline and Sawyer's arrival. They named him Henry Mitchell.
