Alessia married Wesley, father to young Molly. Molly was actually the reason Alessia fell for Wesley. She was tired of all irresponsible guys in her age. First she thought Wesley was one of them too, just intrested in partying and having fun, then he introduced her to Molly and told Alessia all about her. He was nothing like the other guys Alessia had dated and after that she was very much in love with him and now they have married!
The Wingates were all very happy at Alessia's wedding when Marion suddenly felt the baby was coming, three weeks too early. She took an anbulance in to the hospital, but there was no time for Matt to get in the ambulance too. That's why Matt, even though he'd been drinking quite a lot at the wedding, took his car and drove as fast as he could to the hospital. It was a rainy night and there had been no way for the truck driver to see Matt when Matt drove right into a crossroad without looking for other cars.
Right after Marion had given birth to the baby girl she got the news: Matt had been in a terrible accident and was now in a coma. Three days later he was dead. In his memory, Marion named the daughter "Matea".
