Florence and Tuesday met at coffee shop down by her University three years ago. Tuesday struck up a conversation with her and eventually asked her out. They both feel that, for now, they don't want to get married but both are under pressure from their vastly different families.
Talon and Alfred met on campus. Alfred was visiting his elder brother and bumped into bumped into Talon, who immediately shoved him back. He took it back once he got to know Alfred, after their fight, and apologized. Alfred is from Italy and serving as a Doctor in Pakistan while Talon is an officer. They have also been dating for three years, although theirs have been much rockier than Florence and Tuesday's, and appear to have grown up in the last year or so. Alfred is a sweet young man who would get along famously with Florence, Rosa and Schuyler. He graduated High School at twelve and quickly set to work on his degree.
Astrid only met Malachite a short year ago, he was a student in a class she was peer tutoring, and theu hit it off. Astrid thought it inappropriate to date him while she technically had authority over him and he agreed. Malachite ended up asking her out for the second time on the very day after his exam. They have been dating for around six months and Malachite actually proposed! Roland and Delilah aren't exactly happy about Astrid moving to France with him but can see that the young Frenchman makes their daughter happier than she's been in a very long time.
Rosa has only a year left of school before she graduates and has visited many colleges and universities but seems to have her heart set on Harvard. Roland and Delilah encourage their daughter to pursue her dreams but are worried that, despite her brightness, she won't be accepted and will have her heart broken.
Nia's best friend Ian has moved away. His family moved to Vancouver and she is inconsolable. Her marks have started to fall and she sneaks out almost every night to hang out with her other friends. Roland and Delilah are getting very worried.
Jerramy has, for the most part, stopped bullying people at his school and has gotten heavily involved in sports. He has been considering following his elder brother in the military but has more than a few years to think about it.
Schuyler has caught up with the rest of his grade in Math and Science and is about four years ahead of them with English. As such he has been considered for the Gifted program. Roland and Delilah have allowed Schuyler to decide and he is still thinking about whether or not to accept.
They decided to go ahead with it and bump Phineas up another grade level, and then another, and another. He is in High School already and, though Roland and Delilah wish that he were with people his own age, he is having a lot of fun and finding the work challenging.
Alana still refuses to wear pants or tight tops. Her classmates find her odd but she has a few friends and loves hanging out with Jerramy and Schuyler at school.
Logan still leads Ariel around. They get into more fights than any of their other siblings do but it is very obvious that they love each other dearly.
Georgiana doesn't talk to anyone in her class and conveys everything she needs by writing it down. However, she has started talking to her family members.
Jake has turned into a sweet young boy, always holding the door open for his classmates - especially the females - and he always remembers his manners. He has yet to lose control of his temper at school, thankfully, and his parents have been going to counsellor with him to try to control his anger.
Lennie is spoiled rotten by all of her siblings and both her parents. She is very girly and often wants to have tea parties with everyone. She doesn't like the fact that her three oldest sibling are dating/engaged as she prefers to keep her family all together.
