HelpNyx' Choose-Your-Own-Adventure KUY CAF - Round 4
Ok, the rules are pretty simple, I'll be providing two or more options, and you follow the "adventure" that suits you best. Each "adventure" will have it's own set of naming rules for that round. Stories are optional, but always enjoyed and encouraged :) Ages are optional, and you keep track of them yourself. I will not be killing off any family members in this game, but you may chose to do so yourself. I'll provide links to each previous round, so you can quickly find your family. You can chose to sign up and join at any time, just work your way to the current round.
Note: Just because your chose Adventure # in one round doesn't mean that you are stuck with that # for every other round. Each round you can chose your own adventure (hence, the name).

Your couple may chose to have as many children as feasible on any particular round, or chose to stay as they are for the round. If you want to, you may chose to change any DS/DD to an AS/AD. The naming rules still apply, and as much of the story as you can make work.

Adventure 1:
Your DS is very inquisitive and loves the sciences. He either has his nose in a book, is watching program about something science-related, or is doing some sort of research/experiment on his own. He's a very smart boy and got promoted to the first grade within weeks of Kindergarten starting. There is already talk of whether it would be good for him to be promoted to second grade or if they should wait because he is so young.

At times, the brother gets resentful of his sister's outgoing nature, but for the most part he loves his sister a ton.

Landon MacDougal & Vienna York were the high school quarterback and the captain of the cheerleading squad, they were highschool royalty, but they both had very humble ambitions. Growing up in a small town they loved, they knew that they didn't want to head off to college or anything like that, it just wasn't for them. Straight out of high school they got married and Landon opened his own garage while Vienna is more than happy being a Wife and eventually a Mom.
Round 1:
Vienna had always wanted to be a Mom so she and Landon started trying for children not long after their wedding. They were thrilled to discover they were expecting and set about to prepare for their child. It was at their 20 week scan however that they discovered that they were in fact expecting TWINS! They were understandably terrified but now that Noah & Josh are here they're so thrilled to have such handsome identical twin boys.
Round 2:
Wow time goes fast! Landon's garage is thriving, and Vienna loves nothing more than being able to just stay at home with her babies. Noah & Landon are off at school now, the next generation of MacDougal's terrorising the school systems as the teachers like to jest as they fondly remember what a little hell-raiser Landon himself once was. That leaves little Paige, or Sunny as most call her because of her perpetually sunny disposition. Paige is a bright, smiling, joyful little girl whom everyone adores.
Round 3:
Landon & Vienna celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary last year and they're so happy with the lives they've created for themselves and their children. Noah & Josh are typical little boys who love sports, and Vienna often has to step in when their 'play fights' get a little too full on. Sunny is just as adorable as ever and has pretty much every male she mets completely entranced, and the baby of the family Chloe seems to have that same power over the little boy next door, Tommy. Other than that however, the sisters are very different. Sunny is very much a little girl, whereas Chloe is happier playing rough and tumble with Noah & Josh than playing dress up with Sunny.

They got to talking (well, debating, really) after the speech and realized that, aside from their political differences, they actually had a lot in common. And, while they might not agree with each other on political issues, they could respect each other’s views and passion.

When Daphne began getting sick in the mornings only a few months into their marriage, Rex and Daphne were sure that she just had the flu! When it persisted, they finally decided to get Daphne to a doctor. Both were shocked that she was already pregnant, but they were also overjoyed! Of course, naming their daughter was a challenge. Rex wanted something classy, like Vivian; Daphne wanted something a little more creative, like Amethyst. Finally, they were able to agree.
Round Two:
Daphne and Rex felt a little overwhelmed when they discovered that Daphne was pregnant again shortly after Vi turned one-year-old! And they were even more overwhelmed when they found out that they were expecting twins! Luckily, at least Albert seemed to be quiet; unluckily, Flora has very powerful lungs. These personalities have carried through their lives, so far. Albert prefers to be observant and, when forced to speak, barely whispers. Flora prefers to jabber and has no problem striking up conversations with random strangers.
Rex and Daphne were feeling good about their family when Daphne realized that she was expecting, again! Little Georgie was named after Rex’s recently-deceased grandmother and after Daphne’s favorite city in the world.

The King Story

Bo and Fae's parents both immigrated from China, and though they are proud of their heritage, they also want to be fully American. They wanted children, but they didn't expect Fae to get pregnant so soon. Despite her being on the pill, she became pregnant with Georgia soon after they married. She is named after the state her mother was born in. They took a while deciding that they wanted another child, and when Fae became pregnant again, it turned out to be twins! Bo and Fae were happy but overwhelmed, so it took several years for them to decide to adopt. Their first adopted child, Chaim, was the baby of a meth addict, and was born premature and suffering from withdrawal. He was strong however, and never had significant health problems. His name reflects his miraculous survival. Melia is a very happy girl, but is easily distracted. She was born to a mother who had run away from a domestic abuse situation and couldn't support the baby alone. Melia and her birth mother keep in regular contact. Alix is a quiet, shy girl, born to a teenage mother 3 weeks early. She is named after her birth mom, Caroline, and the birth mother's best friend, Alexis. Caroline has become close to the family, almost like a daughter herself, and loves watching her daughter grow.

Adventure 1 & 5: Rufus and Deanna decided to adopt once again and got in contact with a mother-to-be from New York and decided to adopt her baby. They named him Solomon Hercules Philippe, Philippe after Rufus. A couple of years later Rufus and Deanna decided to adopt for the last time, when Deanna realized that she was pregnant. She didn't believe it at first, but once she understood where all the morning sickness came from she was thrilled! They had thought out the best name possible for the little boy, but once he was born Callie said something about that the name wasn't right, and no one could help but to agree. Instead they named him Rocky Everett.

The identical boys are major athletic and academic figures in their school, especially for football and soccer. They are popular but don't get into much trouble, opting to be good role models for their younger siblings and others.
-Juliet is in grade 9 and the blond sweetie is still the center of attention. She excells in sciences and math, wanting to be a doctor when shes older. Juliet also takes to the stage as a singer and pianist, its never stagefright for her.
-Annabelle is in grade 6, she entered her "awkward" stage recently. Still petit and quiet, she enjoys writing and songwriting with Juliet. Some of her writing has already been published locally, and Juliet has performed a few of Annabelle's songs and in return she started to teach Annabelle all the musical knowledge she knows.
-Charlotte, who is in grade 4, is still the little tomboy of the family. If she's not playing soccer with Nathan and Ben, she's with Daniel. Daniel is a 10 year old boy who has lived next door since they were toddlers. Valentina and Leo wonder how their friendship will be like in the future, and whether it will turn into more come the teenage years.

STORY TIME for Round 4
Gideon Lewis Oliviero: This young child of Louis and Veronica is very smart. Within three days of beginning kindergarten, Gid Vander Halt was promoted to first grade, the same grade as his big brother Bryant. The teachers of his school are beginning to think that he should be promoted to second grade. His parents aren't for or against it yet. They want their little boy to have a challenge, but they don't want to embarrass either him or Bryant. Gid is so small as it his, that he was tiny compared to the kindergarteners. Nikki is afraid that if he is moved up another grade more he will become lost in the sea of bodies. Once more, Nikki has brought up the subject of private school. She and Louis are planning to switch their kids over to a nice private school soon, as soon as they can get the papers filled out. Little Gid will be quite thankful for this. He's very shy. When they went and visited the new school, everyone smiled at him, despite the fact that he is petite and has a rather... nerdy look about him. No one once teased him, unlike at his current school.
Aloha Hyacinth Fleur: Every year on the first day of spring who is to be seen in the front yard of the Vander Halts? None other than their very own four-year-old Aloha, whom everyone calls Ally. On all of the lovely days in a year, Aloha is playing outside, watching birds and bugs, rolling in the fresh grass, smiling at the rain-washed flowers. Ally's name is very hippie-ish, and it fits her perfectly. Nikki is a little worried at times that Ally won't want to go to school next year when she is in kindergarten. Nikki is hoping that she can foster a love of learning in this hippie-ish daughter of hers.
Alexis Samuel Cassian and Noah Richelle Jessamy: By her fourth pair of twins, Veronica Vander Halt was beginning to tire out. From the very beginning of the lives of these two, Alex has been bigger than his older sister Noey. Despite this fact, Noey is the one who is always dragging her brother around.

Juno often expressed the desire for a sister, a comrade among so many brothers, but Rowan and Delia decided not to try again since they’re batting a 1/7 of their biological children. So they settled in with their large family and put any thoughts of expansion from their minds.
Ambrose has started dating, which is terrifying to his parents but he seems to be as smart and responsible a young man as they could hope for from a 16-year old. Sully is looking forward to starting high school soon and hopes to make the varsity football team. Ephraim recently started Kindergarten where the decision was quickly made to promote him to first grade where he could hopefully be more challenged. He is still progressing much faster than his peers so Rowan and Delia are quietly contacting the parents of other high functioning children to try to decide how to proceed with Ephraim’s education.
Lastly, much though they decided not to have any more children, Rowan and Delia found themselves expecting another baby not long after the twins were born. This time, however, Delia was not the one carrying the baby. The 16-year old daughter of a close family friend had recently discovered she was pregnant, the result of a secret relationship with a 25-year old man who quickly stopped answering her calls when she told him. Heartbroken and scared, Clarice told her parents and the decision was made that she should not keep the child. Rowan and Delia quickly agreed to raise the child as their own and were thrilled when the child turned out to be a girl. Clarice asked if she could name her daughter and the couple agreed. Thus, Blair Adina rounded out the Roberts clan.

Violet and Leo decided to make Rocco their last child. Six children was more than they had hoped for, and frankly was enough of a handful to keep them all on theri toes! With eight people, their four-bedroom house was no longer big enough, especially as El, Thaddues, and Mira were reaching their preteen years. But rather than leave the home they all loved, they renovated and added new rooms, designed by Violet (who is an architect, after all). The single large attic that made up the second story was divided into two rooms, and another bedroom was added on the first floor. El and Annie moved out of the rooms with Mira and Cat and into the attic rooms, while Rocco was moved into the new downstairs bedroom. This gave everyone privacy and their own space, which made them all happy.
The years went by, and El, Mira, and Thaddeus have all grown into teenagers.

Your DS is very inquisitive and loves the sciences. He either has his nose in a book, is watching program about something science-related, or is doing some sort of research/experiment on his own. He's a very smart boy and got promoted to the first grade within weeks of Kindergarten starting. There is already talk of whether it would be good for him to be promoted to second grade or if they should wait because he is so young.

Twins! (Again?) These two make quite the pair. The boy is bigger then his sister, but the sister is most definitely the leader of this duo. She drags her brother around and makes sure that he doesn't miss out when he is feeling shy. Florence has graduated early from High School - she was bumped up a grade back in elementary school and had been taking two courses over the summer since she started High School. She has been looking at schools over in B.C. but has decided to stay at home for a year and find work instead of heading off to university right away. She wants to be there for her younger siblings for the time being.
Talon has joined the wrestling team in his High School and gets average marks. He has a large group of friends and has had several girlfriends over the past two years. He has calmed down some since his childhood but still dreams of being in the military once he graduates.
Astrid has run into a lot of emotional problems over the last year or so and as such her optomistic nature has diminished. Rosa often chides her, saying that she's too negative. Astrid responds that she's just being realistic, which is where Florence pipes in that no, she's being negative. Roland and Delilah have been considering sending Astrid to a counsellor but have been procrastinating.
Rosa, same as her eldest sister, has always had a thirst for knowledge. She is currently reading adult novels - all of which Delilah or Florence screen first to make sure that there isn't too much gore or any sexual situations - and has been bumped up two grade levels. She often helps out her younger siblings with their homework and enjoys helping her Mother care for the new baby.

Lucas and Vivienne grew up together in the same very small town back in the hills of Washington. By Vivienne's final year of high school, they were making plans. The night she graduated, the grabbed their packed bags and headed for Reno to get married. After a long weekend, they moved to Portland to see what they could make of life. Both of their families are hard working people with little money of their own. They knew that they were going to be pretty much on their own.
Both Lucas and Vivienne got jobs as quickly as possible. And then, Lucas applied for college - he wanted to work on computers and maybe write gaming programs. Just as things were getting settled, Vivienne announced that she was pregnant. They waited a few months before Vivienne finally found a clinic. When she was first checked out she found out that the doctor heard 2 heartbeats! This was a shock, but 2 or 1, the child was going to be welcome. A few months later they welcomed home their first sons.
Now Manny and Zeke are both fighting over the keys to the van most mornings... even though there is a schedule set out that Vivienne rarely lets change. Both Manny and Zeke are in track after school. Ezra and Leo are both on the swim team and stay late for that. Effie, Margo and Clio are in the Drama club, school newspaper, and a part of the student body (all in minor rolls at this point).
