Leo and Valentina grew up down the street from each other in a tiny Canadian prairie town, and have known each other as long as they can remember. They dated throughout high school, and they decided to get married just after their graduation. They married a month after graduation in Nova Scotia in front of their many friends and family. Their honeymoon to Italy was paid for by their families and after a month away they returned to the prairies. Leo is opening a sports shop with his friend Nikolas. Then maybe in the future when he has more money, he wants to start university to become a high school teacher (major in social studies, minor in French). Valentina has always dreamed of becoming a mother, and is willing to push back her plans to become a nurse for now. Both are young and happy, and they are hoping to have some little ones running around their new house (a small townhouse inherited from Leo's uncle).
