From the most noble house of Vigor,
In the mighty Kingdom of Lux.
Three years after the birth of Prince Nikolaj, the Kingdom was surprised to welcome another Princess, Cecilia. The pregnancy had been kept secret up until the time of birth, as assassination fears abounded after King Christian announced independence to one of Lux's colonial nations, Miridor.
While some of the people of Miridor were pleased, other's, most of whom were ethnic Luxurian's residing in Miridor, were not, as they were loyal to their home nation and Empire. Division was rife between the citizen's of Lux as well, most felt that the King was gracious to grant independence to the good people of Miridor. Others felt the loss of Miridor would greatly impact on the Empire and Lux, as Miridor was a prized possession due to it's rich resources.
